The roar of the crowd echoed across Blackstone Prison’s yard.
Hundreds of female inmates formed a massive fighting circle, screaming Lucifer’s name.
In the center stood Lucifer.
Blood stained the corner of her mouth.
Sweat dripped down her face.
But her eyes remained calm.
Cold.
Focused.
Across from her stood one of the most feared prison bosses in Blackstone.
The woman charged forward without hesitation.
Jab.
Cross.
Hook.
Lucifer slipped the first punch.
Moved her head outside the second.
The hook barely brushed past her hair.
A crushing body shot.
A left hook to the jaw.
A low kick to the leg.
The prison boss stumbled backward.
The crowd exploded.
But Lucifer didn’t stop.
She knew prison had one rule.
The moment you slowed down, you lost.
The boss roared and launched a vicious roundhouse kick.
Lucifer blocked with her forearm.
Instantly countering.
Right hand.
Left hook.
Roundhouse kick to the ribs.
The boss staggered again.
The crowd went wild.
The fight became faster.
Punches.
Kicks.
Counters.
Footwork.
Dust rose beneath the orange sunset.
Neither woman backed down.
Neither woman showed fear.
Finally, the prison boss gathered everything she had for one final attack.
Jab.
Cross.
Hook.
Lucifer slipped every strike.
Effortlessly.
As if she had seen them coming before they were thrown.
Then time seemed to slow.
Lucifer planted her foot.
Rotated her hips.
Her leg whipped through the air.
A perfect high roundhouse kick.
Beautiful.
Precise.
Flawless.
BOOM!
The kick landed cleanly against the side of the boss’s head.
The woman crashed onto the concrete.
Unconscious.
Silence filled the yard.
For three long seconds.
Then the entire prison erupted.
“LUCIFER!”
“LUCIFER!”
“LUCIFER!”
Lucifer stood alone in the center of the fighting circle.
Victorious.
Breathing steadily.
Untouchable.
She turned and began walking away.
The fight was over.
At least, that’s what she thought.
Then a woman’s voice echoed through the crowd.
“Lucifer.”
She froze instantly.
For the first time since arriving at Blackstone Prison, Lucifer didn’t turn around immediately.
Because she recognized that voice.
A voice she never expected to hear again.
The cheering stopped.
The crowd parted on its own.
No one gave orders.
No one needed to.
Every inmate stepped aside.
Fear spreading across their faces.
A woman slowly emerged from the crowd.
Tall.
Silver hair.
Calm expression.
No visible scars.
No intimidating muscles.
Nothing about her appearance seemed dangerous.
Yet nobody dared look directly at her.
Lucifer slowly turned.
Her eyes widened.
Shock flooded her face.
For the first time in years.
“Sis…?”
The entire yard became silent.
Nobody moved.
Nobody breathed.
The woman smiled.
“It’s been a long time, Lucifer.”
Lucifer felt her heartbeat pounding in her chest.
Seven years ago…
Before prison.
Before the fights.
Before she became a legend.
She had been a reckless street fighter.
Young.
Angry.
Lost.
And there had been one person who saved her life.
One person who taught her how to fight.
How to survive.
How to never show fear.
That person was Sis.
Then one day she vanished.
No explanation.
No goodbye.
No trace.
Lucifer searched for years.
She never found her.
And now…
Sis was standing in front of her.
Inside Blackstone Prison.
Lucifer clenched her fists.
“Why?”
Sis tilted her head.
“Why what?”
“Why did you leave?”
The smile faded from Sis’s face.
For a moment, neither woman spoke.
Everything around them disappeared.
Only the two of them remained.
Finally Sis answered.
“Everything I did was to protect you.”
Lucifer laughed bitterly.
“Protect me?”
“By disappearing for seven years?”
Sis remained silent.
Instead, she looked toward one of the prison buildings.
Then toward the outer wall.
Her expression suddenly changed.
For the first time, she looked concerned.
“We don’t have much time.”
Lucifer frowned.
“What are you talking about?”
Then—
BOOM!
A massive explosion shook the prison.
The ground trembled.
The crowd screamed.
Red emergency lights began flashing across the yard.
Sirens blared.
Chaos erupted instantly.
Lucifer spun toward the source of the explosion.
A thick cloud of smoke rose near the outer gate.
Another explosion followed.
Louder.
Closer.
The inmates began running.
Panic spread everywhere.
Yet Sis remained perfectly still.
Watching the smoke.
Waiting.
As if she already knew what was coming.
Lucifer looked at her.
“Who is it?”
Sis didn’t answer immediately.
When she finally spoke, her voice was colder than Lucifer had ever heard.
“The real reason I came to Blackstone.”
Lucifer felt a chill run down her spine.
A moment later, the giant steel gate at the edge of the prison collapsed.
Twisted metal crashed onto the ground.
The smoke slowly parted.
A figure emerged.
Huge.
Slow.
Terrifying.
Every inmate who saw it stopped running.
Some began crying.
Others backed away in fear.
Even the toughest prison fighters looked terrified.
Lucifer stared at the approaching silhouette.
Then she noticed something she had never seen before.
Sis was tense.
Not afraid.
But ready.
Ready for war.
Sis stepped forward.
Without taking her eyes off the figure, she spoke quietly.
“This time…”
Lucifer waited.
Sis clenched her fists.
“We fight together.”
For the first time since entering Blackstone Prison, Lucifer felt something she hadn’t felt in years.
Fear.
Real fear.
And as the mysterious figure stepped fully out of the smoke…
She realized the fight for Blackstone Prison had only just begun.
